ShortCutstv is Dr. Steve Taylor, an experienced scriptwriter, university lecturer and author and Chris Livesey, a former lecturer, textbook author and film editor plus an associated cast of Presenters, Camera Operators, film editors and people we like to have around.
Our aim is to create affordable films for A-level and High School teachers and lecturers that inform and challenge students in ways that conventional textbooks just can’t reach.
Our films are designed to fit into your existing teaching by introducing key concepts, theories, methods, issues and debates in ways that stimulate student interest and encourage them to explore interesting and sometimes difficult ideas.

They’re about delivering informative, thought-provoking and engaging content that helps students visualise and comprehend sometimes complex ideas in ways that other teaching methods can’t always reach.
